The Minister of Finance predicts a budget deficit of 7.6% and also says that the economy is likely to shrink by 1.9% for 2009, and also expects a tax revenue decline by approximately R70.3 billion.
We are not yet out of the woods! Plan carefully. This simply means that, we could be heading for a more rough 2010 - the economy might not in the short to medium term be able to create more opportunities and retrenchments may still continue to plaque us in 2010.
